Directorate of Medical Education & Training Orissa - Recruitment of Tutors & Clinical instructors. Applications are invited from eligible candidates of the State of Orissa for filling up the posts of Tutors for Govt. A.N.M. & G.N.M. Training Centers and Clinical Instructors in the College of Nursing, Berhampur on regular basis in the scale of pay Rs.9300–34,800 + G.P. Rs. 4200/- PB2.

Eligibility criteria –

(i) (a) QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST OF TUTORS:-The candidate must have passed M.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/ Post Basic) or Diploma in Nursing Education & Administration from any I.N.C. recognized Nursing Institution with 2 years of professional experience.

(b) QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST OF CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS:-The candidates must have passed M.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing with one year of experience or Basic B.Sc. Nursing with Post Basic Diploma in Clinical Speciality from any I.N.C. recognized Nursing Institution.

Note: Professional Experience means experience as a Staff Nurse from any Govt. Hospitals, Govt. under taking Hospitals, Public Sector Under taking Hospitals & Hospitals approved by the State Govt./ Govt. of India as a referral Hospital for treatment of their Employees.

(ii) AGE & AGE RELAXATION FOR BOTH POSTS:-The maximum age limit for direct candidates is 32 years and for In-service candidates will be 48 years as on 31.12.2012 with the relaxation of upper age limit by 5 years for candidates belonging to S.C./ S.T./ S.E.B.C./ Women/ Ex-Servicemen categories and by 10 years for P.H. category. In-Service candidates are candidates working under the State Govt. Selection Procedure:- Selection will be made purely on the basis of academic merit. Eligibility: A candidate must be a Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS) from any recognized University in the Indian Union or possess equivalent qualification or be a holder of a registerable medical qualification from a Medical College recognized by MCI. After passing the final MBBS examination, a candidate must have successfully completed internship for at least one year. In case he/she has acquired MBBS Degree from a Foreign University, he/she is required to have passed the screening test conducted by the National Board of Examination as prescribed by the Medical Council of India vide Notification No. MCI-2003 (9) Regn. 2001 Dated. 13.02.2002 and must have completed one year of rotating internship in a recognized Medical College.
