Qualifications: B.V.Sc. & AH/B.V.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in any relevant branch of Life Sciences/Biological Sciences with at least second class., M.V.Sc./PhD in Animal Biotechnology/Vety. Biotechnology/Vety. Microbiology/ Vety. Bacteriology/Vety. Virology/Vety. Immunology/Vety. Biochemistry/ Vety. Epidemiology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology /or M.Sc./PhD in Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/ Biochemistry or any other relevant branch of Life Science/Biological Sciences and having at least 65% marks or an OCPA of 6.50 out of 10 or equivalent. The candidates with MVSc/MSc should have three years of research experience. If a suitably qualified candidate with desired experience is not available, than other candidates without experience may be considered/appointed. Candidate should have cleared metric level Punjabi examination. The candidates without knowledge of Punjabi may be considered/appointed provided no suitably qualified/experienced candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience on molecular biological and immunological techniques and cell culture work.
